Every year, the Provincial Plowing Match and Agricultural Fair (Dundas Plowing Match) in Prince Edward Island draws thousands of visitors who come to experience the charm of a traditional country fair. Plowing Competitions
Tractor, antique tractor, horse and oxen plowing — the centrepiece of the fair since 1941. County and Provincial championship classes open to the Maritimes.

Horse Shows & Pulls
Draft, light, miniature and Haflinger horses. Team hitch, unicorn, 4 and 6-horse hitch classes.

Live Entertainment
Local music, ceilidh, step dancing, PEI youth talent contest, country dance, and the annual parade.

Fun for the Whole Family
Horse-drawn wagon rides, pony rides, bubble gum contest, pedal power pull, face painting, balloon twister, Island inflatables, Bessie bingo, and much more.

Heritage Demonstrations
Horse & oxen plowing, discing, seeding, thrashing, skidding, antique farm equipment museum.

Island Food & Flavours
Home-cooked meals prepared on site using locally grown and produced products. "Savour the Flavours of PEI" cooking demonstrations. Island-made ice cream and Island-made meats and sausages.
Free admission for children 12 years old and under. Weekend campers welcome during the Fair, in assigned camping area. Certain conditions apply.
